The world is a dangerous place, and our nation is precariously involved in many problem areas. PC is often a shortcut to satisfy complicated situations, however it never works out longterm. Politeness is fine, deceit is not. We also have unprecedented challenges here at home to both improve our economy and secure our way of life for the future. Political Correctness is the enemy not a solution to civility.
Donald Trump is currently riding the wave of our basic appreciation of straight talk. Politicians and Pundits that don't hide behind political correctness will gain our trust and those who continue with this approach will be rightly mistrusted. Just say NO.

Donald Trump is the opposite of "straight talk." He's a thinly disguised racist... and it's the thin disguise that's so humorous about him. The evil within political correctness is that politicians use it to cover up their unfounded biases rather than dealing with them. Every one of them wants to appear to be the guy who has "gotten past" his irrational fear of black people, immigrants, gays, etc without actually taking the time to BE that guy. If Donald Trump engaged in "straight talk" he would say something like "I have a problem with the president because he's black. I don't like black people." Now that's straight talk.
